Story about the first African making to the final table of the WSOP
His name is Raymond Rahme and he is 62 now. He is the first African to make the final WSOP table. This year he finished 3rd and took away over 3,000,000 USD. He qualified for this World best known poker event in largest in Africa All Africa Poker Tournament, where he finished 9th.
He’s been playing for many years, and concentrated on Texas Holdem only two years ago. He was very successful in various poker tournaments in South Africa and even became a South African poker champion.
Rahme also participated in last year’s WSOP and also finished in money, but did not make it to the final table.
He says he will start a new business in South Africa with these money, he will be going to a cruise soon, also will take care of 6 children.
