2009 Party Poker IPC Results
Galway - 7 January 2009 - 23-year-old Dubliner Rory Rees Brennan partied late into the night after scooping € 160,000 and the title at the first major poker tournament 2009-2000 € buy-in (9% withheld) PartyPoker.com Irish Poker Championship. The Pokerevents.ie organized event was held in the Radisson SAS Hotel in Galway between January 2-4, and attracted 255 runners.
Brennan is a professional poker player, because he is of University College, Dublin in 2006, after a course in trade. He was widely tipped for great things Irish Poker and best friend Eoghan O’Dea, who has also recently exploded on the live circuit for his recent runner-up completed Poker Million. Brennan has already been a great success for the network, and is a member of PartyPoker.com is the new Palladium Lounge for the winners.
“It is incredible that this tournament,” said Brennan. “I went to the final table chip leader, but I thought that I have time. I am proud of how I have been, and in particular, as I have changed gears for key times”
